Twitter: 5 to Follow (No. 2)
Posted in Twitter, Twitter 5 to Follow on April 24th, 2009 by Jeff – Be the first to commentDuring my short time on Twitter I have meet a lot of really nice, helpful, people: People who care about others. Here are 5 people that I enjoy following. I think that you will enjoy them too.
@Ginaschreck -What can you say about Gina? The first thing is that she is an absolute hoot. I think that she has a wild streak a mile wide. She is so much fun that it is hard to put it into words. I was introduced to her by @BertDecker (See the previous Twitter: 5 to Follow post). Be sure to follow Gina and visit her Web site: http://www.synapse3Di.com.
@maniactive – Laura is part of the Presentation Blogsphere (part of the part that matters). Here blog — Maniactive — is very informative and about a topic that matters. The thing that I like about her is that she is not afraid to express opinions that run counter the the Presentorati! Plus, Laura is a lot of fun;)
@scottmckain – Scott is on the Board of Obsidian Enterprises. He current book, Collapse of Distinction, is on my reading list. Check back here for a review. Scott blogs here.
Scott has been inducted in the Professional Speakers Hall of Fame and is a member of the Speakers Roundtable. Those are very impressive credentials but that isn’t why I follow him. I follow him because is willing to share what he knows. And he knows a lot. Follow him, you won’t regret it.
@MichaelDeutch – Michael is a Yogi! That isn’t why I follow him. Although, I do find that very interesting. I follow Michael because I love MindJet Mind Manager. In fact, I use it everyday at work and at home. Mind Manager is Mind Mapping software. It is amazing. Whenever I start a new project I start with this software: I couldn’t get along without it. I met Michael because of my love to this software; you see, Michael is MindJet’s Chief Evangelist.
Michael writes interesting tweets even if you aren’t interested in Mind Mapping of Mind Manager. In addition to Yoga Michael is interested in Getting Things Done (GTD) and public speaking.
@OliviaMitchell – I met Olivia via her blog: Speaking About Presenting. I found her on Twitter and have been following her ever since. This sassy young lady is not afraid to speak her mind which is one of the things that I like about her. She discovers lots of great public speaking related info and shares what she finds. Highly recommended – follow her and read her blog.
